Notary New York can minimize the need for clients to travel to their physician's office to secure health care certificates for adoption. After you have completed your medical exam, we can work with your doctor's office to notarize their letter or health certificate.

We Can Travel to Secure Character References

Notary New York can also travel to obtain character reference affidavits. We can meet with individuals and professionals to notarize their affidavits.

School Records

School records, such as transcripts, diplomas, and degree certificates, are often used abroad. According to the New York State Department of State, only a school's official signature can have the notarial act.

This means that a notary public must meet the school official in person. Self-attested school records (where you, not the school official) authenticates the veracity of the school record are often not accepted overseas, and often an apostille or authentication certificate (legalization, sometimes spelled legalisation) can not be obtained.

Our mobile notary service will allow you to make an appointment with both the school official and one of our notary publics to meet. Ideally, you should meet with the school official at the same time, as the school will only release records to a notary public if you authorize them to do so. After the records have been attested with a notary, an apostille or authentication certificate (legalization) can be obtained.

An Apostille is a document authentication issued by a compenent government authority that simplifies the use of a document internationally under the 1961 Hague Convention. It is for "public" document, which includes a document with a notarial act as well as a certified record from a public offical, including a vital record such as for a birth, marriage, death, or company incorporation/organization, and many others.

In New York, an Apostille certifcate is issued by the NY State Secretary of State. In other US States and Territories, it is issued by their respective Secretary of State. For a Federal document, an Apostille certifcate are issued by the US Secretary of State

Loan Signing

Buying (or selling) a home is one of the biggest financial decisions in many people's lives. It is a long and complicated process, in which a notary public can play a vital role.

Beyond just notarizing a document, a notary public often acts as a “signing agent,” and performs many non-notarial acts, such as printing and collating copies, ensuring that the title or escrow agent's instructions are carried out, help borrowers locate specific pages within a loan signing package, collect escrow deposits, scan documents back to the title or escrow company, and express courier the loan signing pack to the title company.

A notary pubic acting as a signing agent is NOT a closing agent, a banker, or a lawyer,. They cannot answer questions about or change the terms of the loan or answer any questions about a specific loan. These questions are normally addressed by a representative of the title or escrow company, who the notary signing agent can put borrowers in touch with.

Loan signings can be scheduled in our private meeting room at our office, or at either your home or office, or even a nearby coffee shop. While it normally takes less time, loan signing appointments are booked for 90 minutes, to ensure enough time to methodically ensure that each and every page of the loan signing package is carefully handled. Loan signing packages are often lengthy and can exceed 100 pages.

Loan signing prices are for Manhattan below 96th street, weekdays between 8 am and 6 pm. Additional travel fees apply for other times and locations. A special discount is available for most loan signings at our office weekdays between 11 am to 4 pm.

Trusts

We will delivery and present Trust documents to your clients, carefully following your instructions. We understand the importance in having these important documents delivered to all stakeholders, whether it be the settlor / grantor / trustor, trustee, or beneficiary. We prefer to work closely with attorneys and other trust professionals, and are often able to come to your office before our initial trust document presenation so you can be assured we will deliver these documents with the upmost professionalism you expect and that your clients deserve.

Once the documents have been presented and delivered, we will ensure that any documents you require to be returned to your office are promptly returned by private courier or FedEx/UPS. Why not better leverage your time by being freed from traveling to homes and offices. If the Trust is presented at our office, special discount is available for most presentation at our office weekdays between 11 am to 4 pm.

Employee Verification Form (I-9)

Let us help you verify the employment eligibility status of your newly hired remote workers. Our notary publics can act as your authorized representative for the I9. We help you comply with the law's requirements and avoid costly fines. This is ideal for out-of-state employers, as well as recruiters of remote workers. If you have a job fair, we can send a qualified notary to act as your authorized representative for a streamlined recruiting process.

You can refer your future employees to our midtown Manhattan location. In accordance with the instructions from the Department of Homeland Security, our licensed notary publics will examine the identity and employment authorization documents for their prima facie value.

For your executive and C-level recruits, we can travel to them. We can meet them at their homes, hotels, remote offices, or even the airport. All training and mentoring is conducted either at our office near Grand Central, or onsite at your location. Other than the a modest materials fee for each student, all services are offered on an hourly basis, so groups can get our personalized training for less than the typical per student fee of "notary mill" courses that focuses on root memorization to pass the state exam.

All training is personal conducted by our company president, who with 15 years of experience is a sought after speaker at state and national notary conferences, a member of the National Association of Secretary of States' Notary Public Administrator section (regulator of notary publics) and has trained both public and private sector notaries. Additionally, our president is an active contributor on notary ethics and best practices as well as draft state and national legislation.

Telephonic Hearings

In accordance with the Court's instructions and best practices, we can give you an Oath (or Affirmation) for a hearing by telephone. We can either travel to you, or you can use our private meeting room equipped with sound deading walls that you can rent by the hour. We are able to supply the judge, court reporter, or other concerned parties with proof of our notary commission and excerpts from our notary journal and other supporting documents.
